Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a technology used in dermatology and aesthetic medicine to improve the appearance and quality of the skin. It works through pulses of light that specifically target certain pigments in the skin. Depending on your needs, IPL can treat a range of medical and aesthetic concerns such as pigment spots, redness, thread veins and certain signs of sun-related skin ageing. The aim is more even, clearer and brighter skin. A prior consultation determines whether this technology suits your skin and your needs.
